As we know, success in leadership and in the world is not only attributed to what you do; it is dependent on who you are and why you do. Who you are comes across more strongly than what you sell or say.
Education driven by passion awakens us to new learning and a world bigger than ourselves. Passion makes us curious, compels us to dig deeper, and sustains us as we persevere towards answers to questions that matter most.
The root of the word passion is not love or lust or overwhelming emotion. It is suffering. It is the thing that you love and need to do so much that you are willing to go through anything to learn it.
It defines their genius. Why is the sky blue? Who discovered the world? How did the sun get so hot? Where did toothpaste come from? And my favorite: Are we there yet?
